Hello World!
My name is April, and you could say I'm obsessed with pretty much everything I get into (which ends up being a lot). I have had a passion for writing since I was a young girl with too many thoughts spiraling around in my head. So I started a blog at the age of 13, had followers, and even a community all while posting poetry in an attempt to connect with someone who feels the same way I did. Now 13 years (and 4 lost passwords) later, here I am starting fresh with a blog that expands past my original vision of metaphors and soliloquies, but instead a digital snapshot of my mind in every subject.
As for my background, and maybe I should have led with this, I have a degree in Computer Science and a Minor in psychology. I currently work at an app company, not as a software dev, but still helping to solve software problems. I started a mini cookie business with my sister when we were 9 and let it die by 14. I was the co-president of the writers club, a robotics club champion, an honor student, and a member of the choir. I've been working nonstop since I was 16 years old and have dreamed of being an author since I was 6. Well, an author and a songwriter, as well as an actress, a YouTuber, a blogger, vlogger, philanthropist, and most of all an app company owner. While having all of these dreams and intending to fulfill them, owning a blog has always stuck with me.
So I encourage you to follow along, as I expect this journey to be entertaining and gainful to both you and I. Hopefully, as you get to know me through my words, you'll find I live up to my name.
