How fleeting life is.
As Quick as a river's touch ripples
A daisy petal falls to the wind.
And it is at this very moment when I believe
I could never see you again.
I know pain.
I know sadness and loneliness
I thought I knew
I
Thought I hated you for a time.
But now I beg for your life
From God
from doctors
from every memory I have
I plead with myself not to cry
To be strong
To live for you
How fleeting life is,
that mine felt over the moment I could
watch you struggle to survive.
How precarious I was to have emotions so
negative
How revolting I am for not loving you at
every moment
I feel so... foolish.
and yet what am I to do?
So I grieve.
You live and I still,
grieve.
The part of me who experienced you greives
for a life that is yet to come
where I am without you
what do I do?
Who do I go to?
Who can I call dad?
Why must these difficulties rattle me so?
I greive. and I grieve some more
and let the tears cloud my eyes
in bittersweet joy.
You survived and yet
I still grieve.
